Turtle was a keeper from the start!! She stood out in the whelping box with her presence and "tude." Loves her toys and her sister "Dove" but not so keen on the show-ring having her "moments" when she decides whether to perform or not. Despite this she has achieved numerous class in group awards as well as BOB and Junior in Show at the Dachshund Club of Victoria Champ show '07. She has had limited showing but gained her title easily. 2009 saw her strut her stuff a total of 3 shows for 3rd in the Champion Sweeps at the Dachshund Nationals, Reserve Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed to her sister Dove at the Dachshund Championship show and an Intermediate in Group at an All Breeds show. In 2010 she was dusted off and won Runnner up Best of Breed to her daughter Dolli (who was Best In Show ) and Open in Show at the Dachshund Club of Vic Champ show (Sept ). Her next time out she won RuBOB at the Dachshund Club of Victoria 2011 show, her gorgeous daughter Dolli won BISS for a second time! Turtle resides at Tinsnips with her mother Puddles, her precious daughter Dolli whom she allows to torment her unconditionally, her baby daughter Terra and her sweet baby son Raffy. She loves hunting and takes off for hours when she is let out. Turtle is (and dont tell the others ) my favourite girl: she is an absolute delight to own and keeps me in fits of laughter with her "tude".
