Dolli is delectable!! The only bitch in the first litter from Pate she was destined to stay regardless of how she turned out. Although she requires a little more grooming, her coat is thick and harsh. Dolli was shown a handful of times in 2009, her debut being at the Dachshund Nationals (Qld in Aug) where she took out Best Minor of Breed but more importantly won quite a few hearts with her looks and charm. Dolli has always had to mix it with older dogs in the ring and most times has come out with Challenge and Best of Breed. She has also won some Class in Group awards and was Puppy in Show at a record entry Hound Club Show (Nov) at her last show for 2009 under International judges. Dolli went to a few shows in 2010 with some great wins and was semi retired after acheiving her title easily. She shrugged off the mothballs for an appearance at the Dachshund Club of Vic Specialty Show Sept 2010 and with an entry of 190 top quality dachshunds was awarded BEST IN SHOW and Aust Bred In Show under breed specialist Mike Turner (UK). She broke all records in 2011 by winning BEST IN SHOW at the next Dachshund Club of Victoria Championship show under another breed specialist Daniel ROBERTS (UK). This was an unprecedented win for a mini wire and she joins the elite few who have ever acheived back to back BISS!!! Dolli enjoys her semi retirement and lives with her mum Turtle spending her days playing with toys or tormenting her mum, thinking pulling her back legs is a great game !!! (the Brat!!) She is an absolute delight to own and gives me a laugh with her antics 24/7.
